VEGAS ROCKS! MAGAZINE is proud to be celebrating it’s 6th year Anniversary for being in production this August. And to mark this amazing event, we are holding the VEGAS ROCKS! MAGAZINE AWARDS Sunday August 22nd!  This historic, prestigious rock n’ roll royal Red Carpet Awards event will take place at the Las Vegas Hilton inside the Elvis Showroom and will truly be a night to remember for rock n’ roll! The event will be taped for production to be announced for a future televised date. The event will focus on the local Las Vegas rock scene as well as rock legends of the past and present to receive and present awards. We here at VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine are looking to bring together the world of rock n’ roll in Las Vegas for one night for VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine first annual Awards presentation and we look forward to your participation!

All acts nominated will have access to walk the Rock n’ Roll Red Carpet with other well known legends of rock n’ roll. Each band/artist will be allowed prominent seating in the showroom with celebrities and will be filmed for future use on VEGASROCKSTV.COM as well and will be broadcast to a local, national or regional cable station.  Bands and artists will also be prominently featured in the September /October issue of VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine.

 The following categories feature artists nominated for the event.  The following are instructions for participation:

Entry process:

1.      For each band, there is a processing/participation entry fee of $50. This is for EACH category nominated.  For example: If a band or artist is nominated more that once, the band/artist will pay $50 per category they are nominated for. The $50 entry fee covers the entire band.

2.      The processing fee will also serve as the artist/ bands RSVP that they will be in attendance and are interested in participating.

3.      The entry fee must be received no later than August 1st 2010. After that date, the bands listed that have not responded will be replaced by other acts to be nominated to participate.

4.      The ENTRY FEE DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN AWARD. It is separate and does not affect the voting.

5.      Entry fees to be received in the amount of $50 per band  with a check or money ordet and must be made payable to: VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine.

Voting:

1.      Each category will have a number.*

2.      Preliminary voting will be done through email at: vote@vegasrocks.com

3.      NO DUPLICATE EMAILS.  Each vote must constitute a separate email address/ vote for the artist they are voting for. Duplicate email addresses for the same category will not be considered. Please include the category number and artist you are voting for in the subject line.

4.      Local artist category voting will be calculated by an independent source and NOT decided by VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine. So alert your fans to email their votes!
